Recently renovated and under new management, Café Torch offers delicious pre-theatre suppers, and a constantly changing menu delivering freshly baked seasonal dishes.

 

Cafè Torch is open from Monday to Saturday from 10.00am serving coffee and cakes; lunch is served from 12.00pm until 2.30pm. Evening bar and food service from 5.30pm to the start of the last performance. For all other films and events, Cafè Torch will be open one hour before the film or performance.

 

Sunday opening: Cafè Torch is open from 3.15pm to the start of the last film event of the day, with a reduced menu consisting of coffee, cakes, sandwiches and paninis.

 

  • Menu available on a pre-booking basis only prior to all live shows and events.
  • The Café is also available for afternoon teas, private dinners/parties, and corporate lunches.
  • The Café has disabled access and free Wi-fi and is autism-friendly.

OCTOBER MENU

Available on a pre-booking basis only, prior to all live shows and events.

Starters:

- Baked brie with honey and dipping bread

- Chilli , garlic and parsley butter prawn salad

- Mixed Mushroom soup with warm garlic toasts

Main Courses:

- Baked butternut squash with ricotta, chilli, spinach and sage

- Chunky beef stew with root vegetables and parsnip mash

- Stuffed red pepper with rosemary, tomato , garlic, cod and topped with parmesan breadcrumbs and served with patatas bravas.

Desserts:

- Banoffee pie with cream

- Beetroot crackers, blue cheese and honey.

- Cinnamon pancakes with vanilla ice cream and maple syrup

Creamy smoked salmon and leek soup with warm crusty bread

Pear, blue cheese and walnut salad with toasted bread

Parma ham, rocket and parmesan parcel

Main Courses:

Chicken, rosemary , garlic and crispy parma ham in a creamy white wine sauce served with a parsley mash

Cod and chorizo stew with warm crusty bread

Creamy blue cheese, spinach and mushroom lasagne with salad

Desserts:

Caffe latte ice cream with dark chocolate shavings

Syrup sponge pudding with double cream

Cinnamon baked apples with vanilla ice cream
