Simon Hancock

Simon has been a member of Pembrokeshire County Council since 1995 and Neyland town council for almost 30 years. Simon has very wide experience across local government and has held many positions of responsibility including three years as Chair of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority (2006/9). He has a particular interest in social services and health care and from May 2012 to May 2017 held the cabinet position with responsibility for adult social care, health and well-being. Simon is a Magistrate and also sits on a number of outside bodies including the board of Pembrokeshire MIND, Age Cymru Pembrokeshire, the Pembrokeshire 50 Plus Forum, Pembrokeshire Access Group and the Older Adults Mental Health Group. He is an Independent Member of the Hywel Dda University Health Board.
