New Welsh Wave Comedy Tour

SHOWING FROM Sat 16 Mar 2024

Little Wander proudly presents the New Welsh Wave Comedy Tour. Join us for a night of the very best of Welsh comedy and incredible home-grown talent, featuring comedians you know and love, and some you may not know you love yet! This tour is made possible by Creative Wales.

Hosted by Robin Morgan, featuring Siân Docksey, Anna Thomas, Bella Humphries and Matt Rees.

Robin is a Welsh stand-up comedian, writer and actor. He has appeared on Mock The Week (BBC Two), The News Quiz, The Now Show (BBC Radio 4) and co-created Ellie Taylor’s Safe Space (BBC Radio 4).
Bloody funny. Well-written, hard-working stand-up from a massively likeable performer who must surely be on the verge of nationwide fame.” - Chortle

After an Edinburgh Fringe Festival spent making pole dancing funny to rave reviews (★★★★★ “Honestly breathtaking” - The Wee Review), Siân Docksey returns to her unique brand of cheerfully weird stand-up with political zing.

Originally hailing from Burry Port in South Wales, Anna won the BBC New Comedy Award in 2021. Since then, she’s done support for the likes of Joe Lycett, Kiri Pritchard-McLean, Hal Cruttenden, Lauren Pattison, and Max Fosh. Anna was also nominated for Channel 4’s inaugural Sean Lock Award in 2023.
She has the appealing air of not quite being of this world, but whatever planet she’s from, they know funny.” Chortle

Bella is a comedian, actor and dungaree wearer. Come watch her “ooze charm in a cheeky sort of way” as she recounts tales of moving to Wales and asking the age old question..who exactly am I? As heard on BBC Radio Wales and BBC Sounds. “Bella is in many ways the comedian who misogynistic boomer men fear – full of confidence, not afraid to broach graphic content, and wittier than any of them could ever be. Blizzard Comedy

Award-winning Welsh comedian Matt Rees has generated a huge buzz on the stand up comedy circuit over the past few years. With his unique brand of well-crafted jokes and acerbic delivery, he has earned high praise from audiences and critics alike. Support for Elis James and Chortle Award nominee.
