Dirty Dancing, the timeless love story with a classic soundtrack will be back on the big screen at Pembroke Castle on Wednesday 31 July as part of the Torch Theatre’s Sunset Cinema season.

Starring Jennifer Grey (Ferris Bueller’s Day Off) as “Baby” Houseman and Patrick Swayze (Ghost) as the sexy Johnny Castle, Dirty Dancing is the story of a naive girl who meets an experienced dance instructor and becomes his pupil in dance and love.

First released in 1987, Dirty Dancing redefined date movies and continues to captivate the hearts and minds of generations of fans. The Oscar®-winning film (Best Music, Original Song) was recently named one of the Top 10 Date Movies of all time, according to an E! Entertainment Television poll of industry executives and celebrities and remains one of the most enduring modern classics in entertainment history.

Experience Dirty Dancing in one of Pembrokeshire’s most historic and iconic attractions and make sure you take time to explore around the castle grounds before the sun goes down. Bring some friends, a blanket or chair, a picnic (maybe a brolly just in case!) and soak up the incredible atmosphere of an all time classic movie in Pembroke’s stunning medieval castle.

This is an outdoor event so please check the weather forecast beforehand and dress appropriately. If it rains the show WILL go on. Only in the case of extreme weather, such as dangerously high winds will the screening be cancelled.

The price of advance purchase tickets will be £11.00 and Advance Ticket Sales end 5pm on the day of the event. Thereafter, tickets are only purchasable at the gate at the price of £13. To book your tickets, visit or call our friendly Box Office team on 01646 695267.
