Important update regarding Covid Passes from the 15th of November
Following the recent announcement from Welsh Government, everyone aged 18 and above coming to a show or film screening at the Torch Theatre will need to show an NHS Covid Pass or proof of a recent negative Covid lateral flow test result. This will take effect from Monday 15th November 2021.
The introduction of the Covid pass is in addition to the stringent measures already in place at the Torch. We would like to reassure you that these additional measures have been put in place by Welsh Government to make you feel even more secure when you visit us and to ensure that the Torch to continues to operate safely and securely, serving our local community in the build-up to Christmas and throughout the Winter months.
Your safety, and that of our staff, our volunteers and our artists is paramount, and we would like to reassure you that we have gone above and beyond the current Welsh Government and Pembrokeshire County Council Guidelines in making sure the Torch is as safe as possible since we re-opened our doors in early September. We will continue to follow the guidelines issued and respond accordingly to ensure that your experience at the Torch is as warm and welcoming as ever.
We appreciate that the timing of the announcement has left little notice for some of you to prepare your Covid Pass. There are several ways in which you can obtain a Covid Pass and you have the alternative option of providing proof of a negative lateral flow test taken 48 hours before you visit us. To obtain your Covid Pass and/or for information on carrying out and registering a lateral flow test, visit the Welsh Government website here:
Our Full Covid FAQ’s including information on the new Passports can be found on our website here:
The show will go on here at the Torch and we look forward to welcoming you over the forthcoming months.
We thank you for your continued support.
