Due to ongoing television commitments, Mark Watson has been forced to reschedule his Torch Theatre date to Friday 9 February at 8.00pm.

Mark writes:

“Mark Watson here. I'm getting in touch because of an unfortunate situation which has arisen. You were meant to be coming to see my show in the next couple of weeks, and I've been looking forward to it (if you've seen me before you'll know that my enthusiasm for tour shows is genuine, not feigned). But I've got a long-term filming commitment and in the past 48 hours I've heard that the dates are changing, with almost zero notice. This means that I have to be out of the country on what was meant to be the show day, and so with great reluctance I'm having to reschedule the show.

I almost never do this sort of thing because I don't like inconveniencing people, or letting them down, when they're kind enough to come and see me live. I very much appreciate that support, and that's why I am trying to write personally to everyone affected. It's just that in this instance it's been sprung on me, and there's not very much I can do about it.

Of course, I'm not cancelling, just rescheduling - there's a replacement date already, February 9th, and with a bit of luck you'll be able to make that. If it's impossible, the venue will naturally refund your tickets and I'll hope to see you some other time. But I hope the date-change does work for you, and, once more, many apologies for having to do this. It's not something I'll make a habit of...

Thank you again for your custom and I look forward to entertaining you (trying to, at least) very soon.

All the best (I think that's the way to sign it off, 'yours truly' seems weird)
