The Royal Ballet can be seen at its world-class best in Swan Lake, broadcast live from the Royal Opera House to the Torch Theatre, Milford Haven on 1 April at 7.15pm. This sumptuous production of one of the best-known and most-loved classical ballets, is simply not to be missed.
Tchaikovsky’s score soars with symphonic sweep, and Liam Scarlett’s glorious production, which premiered in 2018, breathes new life into this eternal tale of doomed love.
Cinema audiences will be treated to a fantastic cast with Royal Ballet Principal dancer Lauren Cuthbertson as Odette/Odile and First Soloist William Bracewell as Prince Siegfried. A masterpiece filled with exquisite choreography, dance highlights include a sumptuous pas de deux for Odette and Siegfried, an array of national dances in Act III, and the iconic corps de ballet of swans.
