A Big Shoutout to our Robin Hood Supporters!

With less than a week to go before Robin Hood rides into the Torch Theatre with over 50 other young people, there are many individuals and businesses to thank for giving the young people of Pembrokeshire the opportunity of being on stage.

Without the fantastic support of local businesses in and around Milford Haven, putting on such wonderful shows for the young people of Pembrokeshire would be very difficult.

“We know how financially tight it is for everyone these days and it’s terrific that local businesses here in Pembrokeshire want to support the young people and the Torch. Every year the young people from the Torch Youth Theatre put on cracking shows where tickets have all sold out. The productions we offer are a brilliant opportunity for young people to gain confidence and make new friends, elements that are so important as they face adulthood,” said Tim Howe, Senior Manager Youth and Community at the Torch Theatre.

The Torch Theatre would like to thank the following local businesses for their support - Forrest Print, Health Aspire, Milford Haven Round Table, Nex Media, SA Auto’s, & Recovery, Johanna Paxton Wellbeing, Becks Bach/The Little Bakery, Saundersfoot Footlights, and Mick's Sticks.

This summer’s production is the brand new version of the classic tale called Robin Hood: The Legend of the Black Knight and will feature over 50 young actors from Torch Youth Theatre who will bring you three nights of thrilling adventures and excitement.

“All the elements of the story we know and love will be there. Robin Hood robs from the rich and gives to the poor, the Sheriff of Nottingham is up to no good, and Maid Marian is exactly the feisty heroine we all need,” explained Tim.

He continued: “But it wouldn’t be a Torch Youth Theatre production without some things you won’t be expecting, and we can’t wait to share those surprises with you.”

Robin Hood can be seen on the Torch Theatre stage this Monday 20 July, Tuesday 21 July and Wednesday 22 July at 6.30pm. Price: £10 / £8 concessions. Book tickets via the website torchtheatre.co.uk / Box Office: 01646 695267 or click here.

The Torch Theatre's Youth Theatre and Community is also supported by the Port of Milford Haven and The Ingles Charitable Trust.
