Blog No. 48 - Puss in Boots

THESE BOOTS WERE MADE FOR WALKING ...

Puss in Boots (with a Wild West theme), Torch Theatre’s festive pantomime is only three months away and Puss herself is already trying to catch her tail as she hot paws it around Pembrokeshire in search of her bright pink boots. They were last seen at Pembrokeshire County Show but they seem to have a mind of their own and have gone walkies.

Puss makes a desperate plea to the people of Pembrokeshire to join her in her pawsome adventure ...

You’ll never believe this, as I’m usually purrrfect in every way, but I’ve mislaid my favourite pair of pink boots again and I need your help to find them. I’ve looked high and low around the Torch Theatre, from the Cafe to the Joanna Field Gallery, but they are nowhere to be seen!

I’m not an ordinary cat that likes to sleep in front of the log fire, I’m very inquisitive and like to explore, in fact, I’m the cat’s whiskers exactly like the festive pantomime here at the Torch. I know I have nine lives and I’m not afraid to use a few of them in this pink boot hunt.

Can you buckle down and help me find my boots? I might be hot on your heels as my boots move from location to location across the county – from Pembroke Castle to Crymych and Haverfordwest to Solva, they must be safely returned so the pantomime, that I’ve given my heart and sole to, can go on! Don’t pussy foot around, come and lend a paw.

Join me as I tread the boards this Christmas at the Torch Theatre, I can’t wait to meet you in my pink boots.

Puss in Boots can be seen at the Torch Theatre from Saturday 5 December to Saturday 2 January. Relaxed Environment Performance: 19 December at 2pm. BSL Interpreted Performance: Tuesday 22 December at 6pm. Book your tickets via the website at torchtheatre.co.uk / Box Office: 01646 695267.
