From their first steps on stage to creating full-scale productions, Torch Youth Theatre gives young people the opportunity to build confidence, make friends and explore their creativity in a fun, supportive environment.

No previous experience needed — just enthusiasm and imagination.

Weekly Sessions & Performance Opportunities

Torch Youth Theatre offers four age-appropriate groups, meeting weekly during term time on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings.

Our sessions take place after school and are designed to be fun, creative and supportive. While regular attendance is encouraged to help young people get the most from their experience, there is no pressure to attend every session.

Group 1 – School Years 3 & 4
📅 Tuesdays | 4.30pm – 6.00pm

Group 2 – School Years 5 & 6
📅 Wednesdays | 4.30pm – 6.00pm

Group 3 – School Years 7, 8 & 9
📅 Tuesdays | 6.30pm – 8.00pm

Group 4 – School Years 10, 11, 12 & 13
📅 Wednesdays | 7.30pm – 9.30pm

Does my child need acting experience?

No. Torch Youth Theatre welcomes young people of all abilities and experience levels.

What should they wear?

Comfortable clothing suitable for movement and games.

Do they have to perform on stage?

We encourage and support all in the Youth Theatre to participate in the shows.

Can parents/guardians watch rehearsals?

We prefer to save watching for the finished results. Why spoil the show :)

How much does it cost?

£90 per term, with flexible payment options availble.
