TV AND RADIO STAR DALISO CHAPONDA COMES TO THE TORCH!

Described as ‘hot property' by the Evening Standard, the finalist of Britain’s Got Talent and star of BBC Radio 4’s Citizen of Nowhere Daliso Chaponda is finally back out of the house and on a stage with a new show of the slickest, sharpest look at life and he’s coming to the Torch in the new year!

It’s fair to say that 2020-2021 didn't go to plan for comedian, writer and antisocial commentator Daliso… but he performed online daily to millions of viewers, and this is your chance to see what this master of satire has been cooking up with his new show Daliso Chaponda: Apocalypse Not Now.

Daliso has fans worldwide having been seen and heard on The Royal Variety Performance 2020 (ITV), Britain’s Got Talent 2017 (ITV), Britain’s Got Talent Champions 2019 (ITV), QI (BBC2) and The Apprentice: You’re Fired (BBC2) to name but a few. With over 300 million views of his stand up online, Daliso is also the writer, creator, and host of his Rose d’Or nominated BBC Radio 4 show Citizen of Nowhere that has aired for two series.

Daliso Chaponda shot to fame on Britain’s Got Talent, making it to the final of the 2017 series and establishing himself a firm favourite with the judges and the British public. He became a Facebook and YouTube star amassing over 200 million views of his performances.

He has performed around the world and at the Edinburgh, Melbourne, Singapore, and Cape Town comedy festivals. He has also toured the UK twice to sell out audiences and rave reviews.
