Blending melodrama, romance and historical events, Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale, makes a welcome cinematic return to the big screen this September. Following the aristocratic Crawley family and their household staff as they enter the 1930s on the Downton Abbey estate in Yorkshire, this wonderful timeless film is a must for Downton fans.

When Mary finds herself at the centre of a public scandal and the family faces financial trouble, the entire household grapples with the threat of social disgrace. The Crawleys must embrace change as members of staff prepare for a new chapter with the next generation leading Downton Abbey into the future.

A sequel to Downton Abbey: A New Era (2022) and the third and final film in the Downton Abbey franchise, Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale is directed by Simon Curtis and produced by Gareth Neame, Julian Fellowes and Liz Trubridge.
