There has been a lot of positivity recently about the potential re-opening of cinemas and theatres across Wales from Monday of this week. After a very difficult year, this is much welcomed news and we wish all the venues that are beginning the process of re-opening the best of luck!

We are working on re-opening the Torch Theatre in line with the current Welsh Government guidelines and with support from our professional bodies. Current conditions and capacities in Wales do not yet allow for a viable return of audiences and the public re-opening of the Torch, and so we are beginning a phased re-opening by welcoming our Youth Theatre and some of our community groups back to the building.
 
At present, our full re-opening is planned for the end of the Summer, but stay tuned for further announcements as we respond to the latest information from Welsh Government over the coming weeks. Rest assured, we are still here and will be ready to welcome you back with an incredible programme on both the stage and screen.

We want you to return safe and confident to enjoy what we have all missed over the past year; live entertainment and the experience of seeing films on the big screen. We look forward to seeing you at the Torch very soon.

For the meantime, we have been working away behind the scenes on a number of projects and we are planning some exciting online and outdoor activities to keep you busy.
