This year’s Torch Theatre Sunset Cinema series has some great movies showing in some of West Wales' most iconic settings. It’s a great way to watch some of our well-loved and most popular movies in an environment that’s fun and friendly. There’s nothing more romantic than watching the sun go down, the moon on the rise and a great movie right in front of you on the big screen!

This year’s programme:

  • First up we have Top Gun Maverick on Milford Waterfront on Friday 19 August
  • Next we’re showing Downton Abbey: A New Era at the beautiful Norman Kidwelly Castle on Thursday 25  August
  • Top Gun Maverick then screens at Kidwelly Castle on Friday 26 August
  • Followed by Top Gun Maverick at Victoria Hall, Roch on Saturday 27 August

Then within the atmospheric and timeless walls of Pembroke Castle we are screening:

  • The Phantom of the Opera on Thursday 1 September
  • Frozen on Friday 2 September, then
  • 3 September, Saturday night’s alright for watching Rocketman!

At each screening, the gates will open at 7.00pm and the film will start as soon as the light allows. Remember to bring your picnic chair or rug and of course your picnic! And make sure your clothing is appropriate for the weather; it may start to get a little chilly on September evenings.

To book in advance visit here or call our Box Office on 01646 695267 or you can just turn up and pay on the gate.

The Phantom of the Opera: A disfigured musical genius, hidden away in the Paris Opera House, terrorizes the opera company for the unwitting benefit of a young protégée whom he trains and loves.

Frozen: When the newly crowned Queen Elsa accidentally uses her power to turn things into ice to curse her home in infinite winter, her sister Anna teams up with a mountain man, his playful reindeer, and a snowman to change the weather condition.
