THE WRECK OF THE RAGNA
A collaboration exhibition telling the story of a Norwegian vessel wrecked at Aberfelin in 1900 and the dramatic rescue by the villagers of Trefin.
‘A collection of work depicting the 1900 storm leading to the shipwreck of the Ragna off the coast of Aberfelin in Trefin. The exhibition will feature a large-scale oil painting produced by Warren, supported by a series of sketches. Photographs of the stranded ship and information boards including interviews with local residents by Richard and a haunting musical piece created by Andy. The exhibition tells the story of the tragic events and the heroism of the villagers.’
Running from June 3rd - 29th in the Joanna Field Gallery at the Torch Theatre, Milford Haven
